Have you ever been in a situation where you do not take action because you felt that your plate is already full? I certainly have. Coincidentally enough, it tends to often happen when a great opportunity arises. Now, is it really a coincidence? Or could it be fear masking its true nature?
To make things clearer, there is a need to lay it all on the table. Make a list of all the things that you have to do and set the timing needed for their completion. I always find that when it is in your head, the scale of things generally gets magnified than what it really is. So, by doing this, I can become more certain and aware of my situation, instead of just lumping it all together into the often used term ‘busy’. This will then increase my rate of making better assessment and decisions when an opportunity arises.
P.S. Do not let your ‘fantasy’ ruin your future.
