When you have lots on your mind and you feel as though your head is going to explode, sleep. Lie on the bed, or the floor. Whatever is convenient for you, and sleep. There is no point in loosing your mind over stuff. Your mind, like your body, needs its due rest. And most of the time, when you have been thinking too much, your mind is fried. Do not let it get burnt and burst into flames.
Sleep is a powerful ‘mind flames’ extinguisher. It is definitely much better than a cold shower. Or a ‘caffeine fix’. Our bodies are intelligent, far more than we ever give credit for. Listen to them when they give out the warning signs, and embrace nature’s way of rebalancing the order of our minds and bodies.
