Maybe we might have been struggling to make connections with others. We do not understand why that is so as we think that we look pleasant, have a good presence, good communication skills yet making connection is still a tough act.
Perhaps, giving the advice of Brene Brown, that ‘in order for connection to happen, we have to allow ourselves to be seen – really seen’ a try could just change that. Yes, we make ourselve be seen by others. But are we really being our true selves when we do that. Are we making ourselves really seen? Are we sharing ourselves, our stories, adventures, feelings, troubles, insecurities with others?
No one is just all perfect and always successful. People know that. So, to share the downfalls and troubles might just be the way to make some genuine connection that will go a long way.
