Making Yourself Small Doesn’t Serve Other People

If you think that becoming meek and letting others shine on your dime is the better way to go in life, than perhaps this might help. Making yourself small serves no one but your own timid self. It is okay to be nervous, anxious, afraid even. But when you make yourself small, you really are not helping anyone else. This does not mean that you should disregard humility and be an arrogant human being. Knowing when to make yourself small and when to own who you are is crucial. It will be a disservice if you are doing the former when you are in a position to help others improve their own lives. Especially at such circumstances, it will perhaps be a better option to disregard the naysayers and own who you are in every sense of the word.
