I know that you want to be right. If possible, all the time. You don’t want to make mistakes. And that is okay. But if that need to always be right is making you very ineffective in your work, then perhaps you might want to tone that down a little. What if you allow yourself to make mistakes? Not intentionally of course. Just allowing yourself the bandwidth to still be okay despite having made mistakes. How do you think your approach to things would be? Would it make you more effective? More efficient in your dealing with opportunities that come your way? Perhaps. The most important thing to note about making mistakes is that it always is not the end of the world. Time will continue to tick, life will still proceed to take place in various parts of the world. What matters is what you take away from it – the lessons that you acquire from having made or witnessing that mistake.
