I know you can’t help it. There’s just a lot to think about. And asking you to control those thoughts that are taking place in your mind at the same time is perhaps a big ask. However, what if I invite you to consider what that actually does to you? When you overthink something, what are the likely chances of you doing it? It’s quite ironic frankly. People usually overthink things because they want to either do it or have it. But by doing so, they are actually trying to tell themselves not to do it. I know you want to be prepared. You want to be sure before you make the move. But here’s the thing. You can only do your best to avoid having a big blow back at yourself (if that were to happen) then go ahead and do whatever that is that you want to do. If it doesn’t work out. Learn from it. And do it better the next time round. Stop overthinking. Stop being a hindrance to your own growth.
