Being happy is something that most people want. Or at least, aspire to. More often than not though, that idea is thrown at the back of the mind and ‘life’ usually takes over. It is not like people don’t care about it, just that there are more ‘important’ stuff to deal with. Or so they thought. I doubt there is an argument for against being happy. Well, there probably is, but that would be just sad. When someone is happy, the person’s outlook and perception of life is naturally more positive. That definitely does not hurt if you want to have a better quality of life and achieve all the success that you dream of. The fact of the matter is that being happy takes a lot of hard work. You can’t just do nothing and expect your life to be full of happiness. You need to build and align your life and the people in it so that it brings you a higher chance at happiness. It is all about increasing your chances. Happiness is never a guaranteed outcome. But if you do certain things right, like having positive people who you have great relationships with in your life and distancing yourself from those who aren’t, as much as possible, you are one step ahead at achieving your desired outcome. Similarly, if you were forced to do something and you hated every minute of it, over time, you might just crack. Contrast that with doing something that you love although it might be difficult in the beginning, but over time, you will eventually get the hang of it and thus enjoy it. If being happy is important to you, make it priority. Ensure that your life moves you towards it, and not far away. Take regular checks on your current state to see if it aligns with what you want.
